Our Mission

AFC is a service/social organization dedicated to the involvement of Freshmen leaders at Texas A&M. Throughout weekly meetings, influential speakers, committee projects, Buddy Huddle activities, and leadership retreats, the freshmen are provided with countless opportunities to grow as individuals, but most importantly as a team. AFC serves as a supportive community to the freshmen and encourages development through positive reinforcement, mentors, and everlasting friendships. Furthermore, AFC strives to focus on the importance of the history and traditions of our campus, while giving the freshmen a chance to experience the never-dying Aggie Spirit.

Project Fish

Project Fish is a one-day service project led by AFC members and is the largest freshmen-led service project at Texas A&M. As a volunteer, you will participate in different service projects throughout the Bryan-College Station community, similar to Texas A&M's Big Event!

Philanthropy

AFC is the only FLO on campus to serve two philanthropies. Our first philanthropy, Phoebe’s Home, acts as a safe home for battered women and children in the surrounding Bryan/College Station area. Next, New Horizons is a safe haven for abused children that provides counseling and specialized treatment.
